About Us

In 2009, Alan Lesesky - CEO & President of VES, Inc. - formed IGS in partnership with local Rock Hill businessmen.  IGS’s core business relates to Intellectual Property (IP) used in the research & development of products and technologies that are sold or licensed within the automotive, trucking and communications industries.  IGS also invests in start-up companies and is currently a minority stakeholder in two such companies.  IGS has no employees and relies on the vast experience and expertise that VES has developed over its two decades in operation.  Therefore all work (consulting, technical, administrative) is performed by VES employees.

Alan C. Lesesky has a degree in mechanical engineering and forty- five plus years of experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry.  Mr. Lesesky is the CEO & President of Innovative Global Systems, LLC (IGS) and Vehicle Enhancement Systems, Inc. (VES).  VES, formed over 25 years ago, is a small privately held research, development and consulting firm specializing in electrical and electronic products, primarily for the heavy-duty trucking industry.  VES has focused its R&D on innovations in tractor/trailer electronics, with an emphasis on communication of data within and between tractors, trailers, or other towed vehicles, vehicles and remote locations.  These innovations have provided significant solutions for which VES and IGS have been granted patents in the United States and other countries.  Mr. Lesesky's expertise includes, but is not limited to, electronic systems engineering - braking, electrical, lighting, instrumentation, etc.; lab and vehicle testing; designing; and project management at the supplier and OEM level.

Forensics:

Mr. Lesesky has served as an expert witness on numerous occassions, investigating and reconstructing medium to heavy-duty vehicle accidents which were caused by electrical fires, brake system failures, visibility limitations, and driver work load.  He has provided expert testimony and opinion in litigation resulting from such accidents.  Most cases were setted out of court prior to being deposed.

 

Guidelines and Standards:

Mr. Lesesky actively participates as chairperson/member i the development/setting of industry guidelines and standards by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Maintenance Council (TMC).

  • Chairperson of TMC's Truck and Bus Electrical and Electronics Committee
  • Co-Chairman f the TMC's Future Cab Committee (s.4) which develops recommended practices for advanced/future technologies and driver work load.
  • Chairman of the SAE J560 Receptacle Power Requirements committee for heavy duty trailers
  • Member of the TMC's Visibility (Direct and Indirect) Task Force (s.4)
  • Past Chairman of TMC's Future Instrumentation Task Force which developed RP-401 Recommended Practice for nNstrumentation and Switch Placement on hevy-duty trucks

Margot Kaiser is the Chief Financial Officer of IGS and a 25 year veteran of VES.  Ms. Kaiser manages the business operations of the company and is responsible for financial and human resources management, office administration, communications, event planning, procurement, and client relations.
